This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of GroundTruth OS ("the Service"). This policy supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service to:

  • Distill and organise your business knowledge
  • Build and maintain a canonical knowledge base
  • Compile AI agent system prompts from your knowledge
  • Access your data programmatically via API, CLI, or MCP
  • Integrate with supported third-party services

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

Illegal or Harmful Activity

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Store or process content that infringes on others' intellectual property
  • Facilitate fraud, harassment, or discrimination
  • Store or distribute malware or malicious code

Content Standards

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use
  • Store personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent
  • Process content that violates applicable data protection laws
  • Upload content solely to extract or reverse-engineer our AI processing

System Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' workspaces or data
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

3. API and MCP Usage

When using the API, CLI, or MCP interfaces:

  • Respect rate limits — excessive requests may be throttled or blocked
  • Do not share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code
  • Do not use API access to build a competing service
  • Report any security vulnerabilities responsibly

4. AI Processing

When using AI features (extraction, interview, prompt compilation):

  • Do not submit content designed to manipulate or exploit AI processing
  • Do not use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Understand that AI-generated extractions should be reviewed for accuracy

5. Enforcement

We may take action if you violate this policy, including:

  • Warning you about the violation
  • Temporarily suspending your access
  • Permanently terminating your account
  • Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
